Clinical Skills Center (Skill Lab)
History of the Center
in the beginning, this center aims to improve the level of knowledge and skills of learners and their professional qualifications in the field of life support in 1390 with the title of CPR workshop and focusing on practical training on basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills for resident training. and nurses of the complex were placed in the Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs of the complex. In 1995, after expanding the physical space from 25 square meters to 60 square meters, in line with the strategic plan and development policies of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, the name was changed to Complex Clinical Skills Center.

Teachers of the Center
The main core of instructors of this center who are responsible for teaching basic and advanced cardio-pulmonary resuscitation skills are composed of anesthesiology and integrated cardiology professors and the head of the center, and other professors are added to this team for teaching different courses.

Practical skills training Station

Mannequins and medical equipment
This center has two basic cardio-pulmonary resuscitation mannequins for adults and infants and an advanced mannequin and clinical simulator called PDA STAT, which has various capabilities, such as taking veins, listening to various heart and lung sounds, measuring blood pressure, shock sensitivity and applying It has a skin pacemaker, creation of various cardiac dysrhythmias, needle thoracostomy in pressure pneumothorax, chest tube insertion, etc. to simulate clinical training.
Also, Zoll electroshock device, video laryngoscope, pulse oximeter, portable ventilator, emergency bag, multi-purpose electropad, all kinds of airway management equipment including oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal airways, ETT and LMA, Combi Tube, personal protective equipment, examination bed , stools, oxygen capsules, ambobags for adults and children, various types of neck collars and splints, long bag boards with accessories, glucometers, serum bases, types of sutures, dispensers for hand-held alcohol solutions, intraosseous injection needles, etc., including medical equipment and education of this center.
